Mission
ESDIhas been spearheading entrepreneurship movement with a belief that entrepreneurs need not necessarily
be born; but they can be trained and developed through well conceived and well directed intervention.
It is now widely recognized that education can be a very effective instrument to bring out
latent resources and capabilities of people. Based on this belief, the mission of ESDI is:
- To augment the supply of entrepreneurs through education, training and research
- To produce multiplier effect on opportunities for self employment.
- To improve the managerial capabilities of small entrepreneurs.
- To contribute to the dispersal of entrepreneurship and thus expand the social base of the entrepreneurial class in urban / rural areas.
- To be a centre of learning for trainer – motivators on entrepreneurship development.
ESDI Activities helps prospective and existing entrepreneurs with the following services:
- impart skills for becoming successful entrepreneurs
- Provides information on supporting government departments & by financial institutions.
- Provides assistance in project preparation and presentation to the bankers
- Arrange interactions with successful entrepreneurs
- Arrange factory and field visits.
- Provides hand-holding support after training
